A big company calls for a quote. You visit, take notes, build a careful proposal, and send it. Then it's "we're looking into it" for six weeks. You follow up with the one person you know, who is polite and has no news. Eventually you hear the contract went to someone else. Or nobody bought anything at all. You never met the person who decided, and you never knew what they were comparing.
THE SPREADSHEET

Use the completed example as a reference and enter your business data in the marked fields. Check the instructions and the calculations before you make a decision.

SOUND FAMILIAR?
Three situations this handbook solves
A request for quote lands in your inbox
Before you price anything, you run the bid/no-bid scorecard. If it's worth chasing, you ask for the conversation you still need. If it isn't, you send the polite decline from the Template kit and get your week back.
The night before you meet the director
You write down the objective, the best advance, and the minimum advance you'll accept. Then you prepare SPIN questions for this one person, built on the cost of the problem their team already agreed to.
Weekly forecast review
You run each open deal through the six qualification questions and call it commitment, probable, or possible, based on what the customer has already done. The deal everyone feels great about gets a pre-mortem.
INSIDE
What you'll find in each tool
Five parts that follow a large deal from first call to decision. Map the account and everyone who has a say. Run the diagnosis with SPIN questions and put a number on what the problem costs. Shape the criteria and agree on an advance at every meeting. Handle the proposal, the pilot, vendor registration, and the contract. Then qualify and forecast each deal. Every tool has a step by step, a worked example, and a short exercise.

Who it's for
It's for you if
- You sell large contracts to businesses, and decisions take weeks or months and go through several people
- You've lost deals to competitors you didn't know were in the race, or to plain "no decision"
- You hear "just send us the proposal" and have no idea who'll read it or what will carry weight
- You want to forecast the quarter's big deals on what the customer has actually done, not on gut feeling
It's not for you if
- You sell to consumers and the decision happens in one conversation. That's The Sales Closing Handbook
- You still need to get in the door and book the first meeting. Start with The Prospecting Handbook
- You want to build the funnel, targets, and dashboard for a sales team. See The Sales Handbook
- You need to negotiate price with a purchasing department. That's The Negotiation Handbook
- You want a promise that the contract gets signed. This handbook shows what's missing in each deal; closing it is still on you
Frequently asked questions
I sell to smaller companies. Does this still apply?
It scales with the size of the purchase. If two people decide, the buying group map has two rows and the mutual action plan has four steps. What doesn't change is asking before you propose.
Won't all this make the sale take longer?
The steps are the ones the customer goes through anyway. Writing them down with the customer, with an owner and a date for each, makes whatever is causing the delay show up sooner instead of in month four.
The customer won't let me talk to the director. Now what?
Ask your champion, with a reason that matters to the director, like the cost of the problem in numbers. If not even the champion can arrange it, that tells you something too: the deal gets fewer points in the forecast.
What if they just want a price?
Give a range and ask for the conversation you still need to get to the right number. A price without a diagnosis mostly becomes a benchmark for your competitor.
Do I need CRM software to use this?
No. The spreadsheet handles a pipeline of up to 20 large deals. What matters is updating it after every meeting, not where it lives.
How much time does this take?
About 2 hours and 24 minutes of reading, or 6 minutes per tool, plus the exercises. The 30-day plan has you apply each part to a large deal that's open right now, so the reading and the work happen together.
What do I get, and in what formats?
Each handbook is a PDF of about 100 pages with 24 to 27 tools. Every tool has step-by-step instructions and a worked example. You also get the handbook's spreadsheet in Excel (.xlsx), which opens in Google Sheets too, with the example already filled in. The message, policy, and clause templates are in the Template Kit inside the PDF, ready to copy and adapt. Read it in the member area or download the files.
How do I know if it fits my business?
Each handbook's page shows the problem it solves, who it is for and who it is not for, the full table of contents, sample pages, and the company used in the examples. The examples come from small businesses in several industries, with illustrative numbers. If it is not a fit, you can ask for a full refund within 14 days of your purchase, as described in the Refund Policy.
What is the difference between a handbook, an area set, and the Series?
A handbook solves one problem. An area set brings together every handbook and spreadsheet in one of the 6 areas, for less than the price of 5 single handbooks. The Consylion Handbook Series brings together all 100 handbooks and 100 spreadsheets, for less than the price of 8 single handbooks, and includes the next handbooks in the Series. Products outside the Series, from Consylion Life or Consylion Business, have their own price. They are sold separately and are not part of an area set or the Series.
Do I need to read everything before I start?
No. Each tool works on its own. Open the table of contents, pick the tool for today's problem, and start there. You can also read it cover to cover.
Do I need to know Excel?
The basics are enough: open the file and fill in the marked fields. The formulas are already built, and the handbook's example is filled in for reference.
How do I pay, and when do I get access?
By card or bank transfer, as a one-time payment with no subscription. Once your payment is confirmed, you get access to the member area by email. Approved card payments are confirmed right away. Bank transfers are confirmed when the funds clear. If access does not arrive within 24 hours of confirmation, check your spam folder and write to team@consylion.org.
How long do I have access, and how can I use the files?
Access does not expire, and you can download the files for offline use. The license is individual. You may read the handbooks, print them for your own use, and fill in and adapt the spreadsheet and templates with your company's data. If you are a consultant, accountant, or manager, you may apply the tools with your clients and deliver the result of your work, not the files. You may not share, resell, or distribute the files or the access.
How do support and refunds work?
Support is by email at team@consylion.org, on business days, with a reply within 5 business days. It covers questions about access, files, and payment. It does not include consulting or advice on applying the material to your case. You can cancel within 14 days of your purchase, without giving a reason, and get the full amount back through the payment method you used. Send the request to the same email. The details are in the Refund Policy.
