The Offer Handbook

How to Put Together What You Sell So Customers Say Yes

You send the price. They say "I'll think about it." Then nothing.

24 tools, 13 ready-made templates, and a spreadsheet to turn your list of services or products into an offer customers can actually say yes to.

You get 24 tools to write the outcome the customer is buying, build the package and the bonuses, put a promise and a real deadline on the deal, and test the offer piece by piece. Plus 13 templates and a 5-tab spreadsheet, filled in with the example.

A customer asks what you charge. You send a price, maybe a list. They say "I'll think about it," and that's the last you hear. The ones who do buy sometimes call later, upset about something nobody told them wasn't included. You know the work is good. But on paper it looks like everyone else's, so the only lever you ever reach for is a discount.

THE SPREADSHEET

SOUND FAMILIAR?

Three situations this handbook solves

A customer says "I'll think about it"

Instead of offering a discount on the spot, you go back to the five obstacles. Is it effort, value, risk, habit, or image? You answer that one obstacle with the piece of the offer built for it, and leave the price where it is.

Slow season is coming

The usual move is a sale. This time you open the spreadsheet and build a different offer for the slow months, built around the reason business drops, with the same team, so your regular prices stay intact for the busy season.

A new hire starts answering inquiries

You hand them the offer sheet: the outcome, the core, the package, the bonuses, the deadline, and the terms, all on one page. They explain the deal the same way you would, from their very first conversation.

INSIDE

What you'll find in each tool

Five parts, in the order you build an offer. Find out what the customer is really buying and what stops them from saying yes. Put the offer together: one core, a package that makes sense, bonuses that remove a doubt, a clear name. Handle risk, price, and deadline. Map the path from the first purchase to the next. Then test, measure, and review every season.

The Offer Handbook · Illustrative example with numbers
Illustrative example with numbers: Juçara Turismo, a fictional tour agency with 9 people that takes visitors on trips to a park of dunes and lagoons. Owner Socorro and Diego, who answers the inquiries, cut a list of 14 similar tours down to one core offer and two supporting ones. Their numbers run through every tool.

Who it's for

It's for you if

  • You quote a price when asked, and too often the answer is "I'll think about it"
  • You sell a list of services or products, and you want an offer customers understand at a glance
  • You give discounts because you don't know what else to offer
  • You'd like to promise customers something, or set a deadline, but you're afraid it will backfire
  • You sell services, products, or both, and you set your own packages

It's not for you if

  • You need to work out how much to charge. That's The Service Pricing Handbook
  • You want to write the sales page and the ads. See The Copywriting Handbook
  • You want the principles of influence and how people decide. That's The Persuasion Handbook
  • You want an offer that can't fail. This handbook helps you build, test, and measure yours, one piece at a time

Frequently asked questions

Does this work if I sell products, not services?

Yes. The outcome, the obstacles, the package, the terms, and the add-ons all apply to products. The example is a tour agency, but every tool shows how it works in services, retail, manufacturing, and for independent professionals.

Isn't a bonus just a discount in disguise?

It is when it doesn't remove an obstacle. The handbook shows you how to pick a bonus that answers a real customer doubt and costs you little, and how to drop the ideas that are just freebies.

What if my customers only care about the lowest price?

First check whether price is really the reason, by talking with people who didn't buy. The handbook gives you the questions. If price does turn out to be the reason, a small first purchase or a smaller offer usually works better than cutting your price.

Is it okay to say "only a few spots left"?

Only if it's true, with the date or the number of spots and the reason behind it. The handbook is firm on this: a fake deadline misleads the customer and wears down your credibility for the next one.

How much time does this take?

About 2 hours and 24 minutes of reading, or 6 minutes per tool, plus the exercises. It's written for beginners. The 30-day plan takes you from what the customer buys to the offer sheet and the monthly numbers, one week per stage.

What do I get, and in what formats?

Each handbook is a PDF of about 100 pages with 24 to 27 tools. Every tool has step-by-step instructions and a worked example. You also get the handbook's spreadsheet in Excel (.xlsx), which opens in Google Sheets too, with the example already filled in. The message, policy, and clause templates are in the Template Kit inside the PDF, ready to copy and adapt. Read it in the member area or download the files.

How do I know if it fits my business?

Each handbook's page shows the problem it solves, who it is for and who it is not for, the full table of contents, sample pages, and the company used in the examples. The examples come from small businesses in several industries, with illustrative numbers. If it is not a fit, you can ask for a full refund within 14 days of your purchase, as described in the Refund Policy.

What is the difference between a handbook, an area set, and the Series?

A handbook solves one problem. An area set brings together every handbook and spreadsheet in one of the 6 areas, for less than the price of 5 single handbooks. The Consylion Handbook Series brings together all 100 handbooks and 100 spreadsheets, for less than the price of 8 single handbooks, and includes the next handbooks in the Series. Products outside the Series, from Consylion Life or Consylion Business, have their own price. They are sold separately and are not part of an area set or the Series.

Do I need to read everything before I start?

No. Each tool works on its own. Open the table of contents, pick the tool for today's problem, and start there. You can also read it cover to cover.

Do I need to know Excel?

The basics are enough: open the file and fill in the marked fields. The formulas are already built, and the handbook's example is filled in for reference.

How do I pay, and when do I get access?

By card or bank transfer, as a one-time payment with no subscription. Once your payment is confirmed, you get access to the member area by email. Approved card payments are confirmed right away. Bank transfers are confirmed when the funds clear. If access does not arrive within 24 hours of confirmation, check your spam folder and write to team@consylion.org.

How long do I have access, and how can I use the files?

Access does not expire, and you can download the files for offline use. The license is individual. You may read the handbooks, print them for your own use, and fill in and adapt the spreadsheet and templates with your company's data. If you are a consultant, accountant, or manager, you may apply the tools with your clients and deliver the result of your work, not the files. You may not share, resell, or distribute the files or the access.

How do support and refunds work?

Support is by email at team@consylion.org, on business days, with a reply within 5 business days. It covers questions about access, files, and payment. It does not include consulting or advice on applying the material to your case. You can cancel within 14 days of your purchase, without giving a reason, and get the full amount back through the payment method you used. Send the request to the same email. The details are in the Refund Policy.
