The Recurring Revenue and Subscriptions Handbook
Plans, Clubs, and Repeat Revenue, without Discounts That Don't Pay Off
Your best customers come back every month. So why do you start every month from zero?
24 tools, a 6-tab spreadsheet, and one example business worked through with numbers: find what can become a plan, price the monthly fee on real usage, sell it, and bill it.
You get 24 tools to test what can become recurring, set the scope and usage limit, price the fee on expected usage, write the plan rules, offer it at the register, handle declined payments, and measure margin by plan. Plus a filled-in spreadsheet.
A book explains the method. This handbook puts it to work: the tool, a worked example, and a spreadsheet with your numbers.
One-time payment of $29.00. The order form shows the final amount, with any taxes for your country, before you pay.
Digital delivery: PDF handbook, spreadsheet and access on the Consylion platform.
14-day money-back guarantee: if it isn't what you expected, request a full refund within 14 days of purchase.

The same customer shows up two or three times a month and pays each time. Then a competitor runs a promotion and you don't see them for six weeks. Saturday is packed and Tuesday is dead. You've thought about a monthly plan more than once, but two questions always stop you: why give a discount to people who already come anyway, and what if subscribers come every single day?

SOUND FAMILIAR?
Three situations this handbook solves
A regular comes back for the second time this month
Your system flags it at the register. After the payment, you show the math in one sentence: how often they come, what the plan works out to per visit, and one benefit. No pressure, just their own numbers.
A subscriber's card gets declined
You don't treat it as a late payment. The system retries the next day. If that fails, a friendly message goes out with a link to update the card or switch methods, and the subscriber keeps coming without anyone mentioning collections.
Six months after launch
You open the review tab. One plan is used more than you priced it for. You compare actual usage and margin with the forecast and decide, plan by plan, to keep, adjust, or close it to new sign-ups. Current subscribers get any change as a proposal.
INSIDE
What you'll find in each tool
Five parts, in the order you'll use them. Find out what can become recurring and who your frequent customers are. Design the plan: scope, expected usage, tiers, monthly fee, and benefits. Write the rules and sell the plan. Bill it and deliver it every month. Then read the numbers: margin by plan, cash, payback, a 12-month forecast, and a review every six months.

Who it's for
It's for you if
- You have customers who come back every month and still pay one visit at a time
- You want to launch a plan, a club, or a subscription without a discount that doesn't pay for itself
- You have slow days during the week and want to fill them with subscribers on a schedule
- You sell to businesses and want a monthly contract per unit, with a single invoice
- You sell a product, not a service, and want a replenishment plan or a club
It's not for you if
- You already have subscribers and want fewer cancellations. Start with The After-Sale and Customer Success Handbook
- You only need to price a one-off service or product. See The Service Pricing Handbook and The Product Pricing Handbook
- You need to collect from customers who are already behind. That's The Collections and Late Payments Handbook
- You want a promised number of subscribers. This handbook gives you the method and the math to decide
Frequently asked questions
I sell products, not services. Does this work for me?
Yes. Use the replenishment or club format, swap the cost of each service for the cost of the goods and shipping, and the rest of the method is the same. Every tool also shows how it applies to services, retail, manufacturing and distribution, and independent professionals.
Do I need special software to run a plan?
You need three things: automatic billing, a usage log per customer, and a flag at the register. Many scheduling and business management systems already do all three. Without one, the handbook shows you how to start with the spreadsheet and an automatic payment method.
What if subscribers use the plan more than I expected?
They paid for the limit, and using it is their right. What changes is the price for new subscribers and the plan limit at the next review. That's why the handbook prices the fee on expected usage and tracks actual usage from the first month.
Won't a plan kill my per-visit sales?
Not if it's designed for your frequent customers. Customers who come less often keep paying per visit, and subscriber scheduling moves subscribers to your slow days.
Should I require a minimum term?
Not necessarily. For customers who already come back every month, a cancellation fee mostly scares off the very people the plan is for, so the example plan has none. If you want a minimum term, the handbook tells you to write the rule with your lawyer.
How much time does this take?
About 2 hours and 24 minutes of reading, or 6 minutes per tool, plus the exercises. It's written for an intermediate level. The 30-day plan goes one week per stage: diagnosis, plan design, rules and billing, then launch and measure.
What do I get, and in what formats?
Each handbook is a PDF of about 100 pages with 24 to 27 tools. Every tool has step-by-step instructions and a worked example. You also get the handbook's spreadsheet in Excel (.xlsx), which opens in Google Sheets too, with the example already filled in. The message, policy, and clause templates are in the Template Kit inside the PDF, ready to copy and adapt. Read it in the member area or download the files.
How do I know if it fits my business?
Each handbook's page shows the problem it solves, who it is for and who it is not for, the full table of contents, sample pages, and the company used in the examples. The examples come from small businesses in several industries, with illustrative numbers. If it is not a fit, you can ask for a full refund within 14 days of your purchase, as described in the Refund Policy.
What is the difference between a handbook, an area set, and the Series?
A handbook solves one problem. An area set brings together every handbook and spreadsheet in one of the 6 areas, for less than the price of 5 single handbooks. The Consylion Handbook Series brings together all 100 handbooks and 100 spreadsheets, for less than the price of 8 single handbooks, and includes the next handbooks in the Series. Products outside the Series, from Consylion Life or Consylion Business, have their own price. They are sold separately and are not part of an area set or the Series.
Do I need to read everything before I start?
No. Each tool works on its own. Open the table of contents, pick the tool for today's problem, and start there. You can also read it cover to cover.
Do I need to know Excel?
The basics are enough: open the file and fill in the marked fields. The formulas are already built, and the handbook's example is filled in for reference.
How do I pay, and when do I get access?
By card or bank transfer, as a one-time payment with no subscription. Once your payment is confirmed, you get access to the member area by email. Approved card payments are confirmed right away. Bank transfers are confirmed when the funds clear. If access does not arrive within 24 hours of confirmation, check your spam folder and write to team@consylion.org.
How long do I have access, and how can I use the files?
Access does not expire, and you can download the files for offline use. The license is individual. You may read the handbooks, print them for your own use, and fill in and adapt the spreadsheet and templates with your company's data. If you are a consultant, accountant, or manager, you may apply the tools with your clients and deliver the result of your work, not the files. You may not share, resell, or distribute the files or the access.
How do support and refunds work?
Support is by email at team@consylion.org, on business days, with a reply within 5 business days. It covers questions about access, files, and payment. It does not include consulting or advice on applying the material to your case. You can cancel within 14 days of your purchase, without giving a reason, and get the full amount back through the payment method you used. Send the request to the same email. The details are in the Refund Policy.
