The Sales Closing Handbook

Scripts and Ready-Made Answers That Turn Quotes into Sales without Sounding Pushy

You sent the quote. They said they'd think about it. Then nothing.

24 tools with ready-made scripts for WhatsApp, phone calls, and meetings, a worked example from a dental clinic, and a spreadsheet that tells you who to follow up with today.

You get 24 tools that take the sale from first contact to the referral request: a script for each step, an objection map, a one-page proposal template, and a day 1, 3, 7, and 15 follow-up cadence. Plus a 7-tab spreadsheet, filled in with the example.

Thursday afternoon. You scroll back through WhatsApp and count them: six quotes sent this month, six customers who said they'd think about it. Think about what, exactly? You never asked. You don't want to be the pest who keeps messaging, so you wait. Meanwhile, someone on your team handed out a discount at the first objection, and a message that came in at 7 p.m. is still sitting unread. Nobody said no. Nobody asked for the yes, either.

THE SPREADSHEET

SOUND FAMILIAR?

Three situations this handbook solves

A customer says "I'll think about it"

Instead of "sure, no rush," you ask one question: is it the service, the price, or something they'd like to talk over with someone? Now you know what's really in the way, and you agree on a day to talk again.

Monday morning, five open quotes

You open the Cadence tab. It shows who gets the day 1 check-in, who gets the day 7 note about the proposal's expiry date, and who has reached day 15. You send today's messages, and each one brings something new.

The customer needs to ask their spouse

Rather than waiting on a verdict from someone who never heard the proposal, you invite both of them to a 15-minute conversation, in person or by video, with the one-page proposal in front of them.

INSIDE

What you'll find in each tool

Five parts, in the order a sale actually happens. The first contact: how fast to reply and what to say first. The diagnostic conversation: the questions that get the customer talking. Proposal and quote: three options on one page, with an expiry date. Objections: a script for "I'll think about it," "it's too expensive," and the rest. Closing and follow-up: asking for the yes, the cadence, and the referral request.

The Sales Closing Handbook · Illustrative example with numbers
Illustrative example with numbers: Clínica Sorriso Pleno, a fictional dental clinic that gets about 140 contacts a month. Dr. Patrícia and Dr. Marcelo examine the patients; Juliana handles the contacts and presents the quotes. Their numbers run through every tool, and the logic carries over to a salon, an office, or a store.

Who it's for

It's for you if

  • You sell your own service or have up to 5 people selling: a clinic, a salon, a beauty studio, a professional services office, or a store that works from quotes
  • Your quotes end in "I'll think about it" or in silence, and you want to know where the sale stalls
  • You want scripts you can copy for WhatsApp, phone calls, and meetings, from the first message to the referral request
  • You hate sounding pushy and want a follow-up routine that doesn't turn into nagging
  • You'd rather have a spreadsheet tell you who to message today than keep it all in your head

It's not for you if

  • You still need to decide how much to charge. That's The Service Pricing Handbook
  • You want to build a funnel, campaigns, and a CRM for the whole company. See The Sales Handbook
  • You're negotiating terms with a big client, a supplier, or a bank. That's The Negotiation Handbook
  • You're looking for pressure tactics or a way to promise customers results

Frequently asked questions

I don't run a clinic. Does this work for my business?

Yes. The example is a dental clinic, but every tool has an "In your industry" box for clinics and practices, salons and beauty studios, professional services offices, and stores. If you send quotes and wait for an answer, the path from first contact to yes is the same. You swap the example's numbers for yours.

I work alone. Is it still for me?

Yes. You still do the Tool 09 handoff, just with yourself: a pause, the summary out loud, and only then the quote. The spreadsheet does the remembering a team would do, so no follow-up date slips.

Won't messages on days 1, 3, 7, and 15 annoy people?

Only if they just nag. In the cadence, each message brings something new, like a similar case or a useful explanation, and ends with an easy question. When someone asks you to stop, you stop. Tool 22 has the message that ends the conversation with the door left open.

My customers would rather talk on the phone. Does it still work?

Yes. The scripts work out loud too. Tool 04 helps you pick between a voice note, a call, or text, and includes a 5-minute call script. Only the proposal and the confirmation go in writing.

What if the customer asks for a discount right away?

You ask why first. Tool 16 shows you how to tell whether "it's too expensive" is about money or about trust, and each one gets a different answer. If it turns into a negotiation, trading concessions is covered in The Negotiation Handbook.

How much time will this take?

About 2 hours and 24 minutes of reading, or 6 minutes per tool, plus the exercise at the end of each one. It's written for beginners. The 30-day plan spreads the work over four weeks, one stage of the sale per week.

What do I get, and in what formats?

Each handbook is a PDF of about 100 pages with 24 to 27 tools. Every tool has step-by-step instructions and a worked example. You also get the handbook's spreadsheet in Excel (.xlsx), which opens in Google Sheets too, with the example already filled in. The message, policy, and clause templates are in the Template Kit inside the PDF, ready to copy and adapt. Read it in the member area or download the files.

How do I know if it fits my business?

Each handbook's page shows the problem it solves, who it is for and who it is not for, the full table of contents, sample pages, and the company used in the examples. The examples come from small businesses in several industries, with illustrative numbers. If it is not a fit, you can ask for a full refund within 14 days of your purchase, as described in the Refund Policy.

What is the difference between a handbook, an area set, and the Series?

A handbook solves one problem. An area set brings together every handbook and spreadsheet in one of the 6 areas, for less than the price of 5 single handbooks. The Consylion Handbook Series brings together all 100 handbooks and 100 spreadsheets, for less than the price of 8 single handbooks, and includes the next handbooks in the Series. Products outside the Series, from Consylion Life or Consylion Business, have their own price. They are sold separately and are not part of an area set or the Series.

Do I need to read everything before I start?

No. Each tool works on its own. Open the table of contents, pick the tool for today's problem, and start there. You can also read it cover to cover.

Do I need to know Excel?

The basics are enough: open the file and fill in the marked fields. The formulas are already built, and the handbook's example is filled in for reference.

How do I pay, and when do I get access?

By card or bank transfer, as a one-time payment with no subscription. Once your payment is confirmed, you get access to the member area by email. Approved card payments are confirmed right away. Bank transfers are confirmed when the funds clear. If access does not arrive within 24 hours of confirmation, check your spam folder and write to team@consylion.org.

How long do I have access, and how can I use the files?

Access does not expire, and you can download the files for offline use. The license is individual. You may read the handbooks, print them for your own use, and fill in and adapt the spreadsheet and templates with your company's data. If you are a consultant, accountant, or manager, you may apply the tools with your clients and deliver the result of your work, not the files. You may not share, resell, or distribute the files or the access.

How do support and refunds work?

Support is by email at team@consylion.org, on business days, with a reply within 5 business days. It covers questions about access, files, and payment. It does not include consulting or advice on applying the material to your case. You can cancel within 14 days of your purchase, without giving a reason, and get the full amount back through the payment method you used. Send the request to the same email. The details are in the Refund Policy.

Give every quote a next step

Often, the silence after a quote has a simple cause: nobody agreed on what happens next. This handbook gives you the words for each step, a spreadsheet that remembers who to follow up with, and a cadence that doesn't nag. The decision to buy is still your customer's.
