The Stoicism for Entrepreneurs Handbook
Calm, Decisions, and Focus on What's within Your Control
One bad message at 11 p.m. and the decision is made. By Friday, you're undoing it.
24 tools from Epictetus, Seneca, and Marcus Aurelius, turned into short written routines for owners who decide alone, worked through on one trucking company in a rough year.
You get 24 tools to separate what's up to you from what isn't, test bad news before you act on it, prepare for setbacks ahead of time, and decide by a criterion you wrote down. Plus a spreadsheet with 6 working tabs, filled in with the example.
A book explains the method. This handbook puts it to work: the tool, a worked example, and a spreadsheet with your numbers.
One-time payment of $29.00. The order form shows the final amount, with any taxes for your country, before you pay.
Digital delivery: PDF handbook, spreadsheet and access on the Consylion platform.
14-day money-back guarantee: if it isn't what you expected, request a full refund within 14 days of purchase.

Costs go up. A big customer sends a curt email. Someone doesn't show up on Monday. By 11 p.m. you've recorded the angry voice message, picked a new supplier, and decided the year is over. Half of it gets undone the following week. And the hours you spent on the economy and the weather never went to the proposal that was actually up to you.
THE SPREADSHEET
Owner's Stoic routine spreadsheet
Use the completed example as a reference and enter your business data in the marked fields. Check the instructions and the calculations before you make a decision.

SOUND FAMILIAR?
Three situations this handbook solves
The email that kept you up
Before you reply, you rewrite it as one plain sentence with a number. The disaster you pictured turns into a few late deliveries and a request for a plan. You answer the next morning, with the plan.
Monday, 15 minutes before the week starts
You list what could go wrong this week, write the response to each item, and agree on the big ones with whoever will carry them out. When one of them happens, the decision is already made.
The day everything is on fire
A big customer won't renew. You dump every open item onto one sheet, pick the one action that changes the rest, add two more for today, and give everything else a date.
INSIDE
What you'll find in each tool
Five parts, in the order you'll need them. Sort out what's within your control. See the facts before you react. Prepare for what's coming, with the response written down. Get through the crisis one action at a time. Then decide with character and review your day. Every tool pairs the ancient text with what modern research says and ends with an exercise built around a decision in your own business.

Who it's for
It's for you if
- You make the decisions alone, and bad news tends to turn into a knee-jerk reaction
- You lose hours and sleep over what you can't control: costs, customers, competitors, the economy
- You've made calls in the heat of the moment and paid to undo them later
- You want a short written routine, morning and evening, that fits into a busy week
It's not for you if
- You want psychology techniques for managing emotions at work. See The Emotional Intelligence at Work Handbook
- You want a decision method with a matrix and expected value. That's The Decision-Making Handbook
- You need the company's risk map and crisis plan. Start with The Risk and Crisis Handbook
- You're looking for help with anxiety or insomnia. This handbook covers conduct and decisions; those call for a doctor or a psychologist
Frequently asked questions
Isn't Stoicism about being cold and bottling things up?
No. The Stoics wrote about not being dragged around by your judgments, not about not feeling. The tools here deal with decisions and conduct. To work on the emotions themselves, see The Emotional Intelligence at Work Handbook.
I don't run a trucking company. Will this work for me?
Yes. The example is a trucking company, but every tool shows how it applies to services, retail, manufacturing and distribution, and independent professionals. Bad news and hard calls look much the same in any industry.
Do I need to read the ancient philosophers first?
No. Each tool cites the book and the chapter, and explains the idea in plain English. If you want to go further, the handbook suggests starting with Epictetus's Enchiridion, which is short, and Marcus Aurelius's Meditations.
Will this fix my anxiety or my insomnia?
No. This handbook is not a treatment. If anxiety or insomnia is getting in the way of your life, see a doctor or a psychologist. The tools can sit alongside treatment, never replace it.
How much time does it take?
About 2 hours and 24 minutes of reading, or 6 minutes per tool. In the first month you follow the 30-day plan. From the second month on, the full routine takes about 2 hours 25 minutes a week.
Can I use it with my team?
Some tools spread on their own, like the bare description of the facts. The code of conduct, the daily review, and the signs of progress belong to you. Don't hold the team to what you're still learning to practice.
What do I get, and in what formats?
Each handbook is a PDF of about 100 pages with 24 to 27 tools. Every tool has step-by-step instructions and a worked example. You also get the handbook's spreadsheet in Excel (.xlsx), which opens in Google Sheets too, with the example already filled in. The message, policy, and clause templates are in the Template Kit inside the PDF, ready to copy and adapt. Read it in the member area or download the files.
How do I know if it fits my business?
Each handbook's page shows the problem it solves, who it is for and who it is not for, the full table of contents, sample pages, and the company used in the examples. The examples come from small businesses in several industries, with illustrative numbers. If it is not a fit, you can ask for a full refund within 14 days of your purchase, as described in the Refund Policy.
What is the difference between a handbook, an area set, and the Series?
A handbook solves one problem. An area set brings together every handbook and spreadsheet in one of the 6 areas, for less than the price of 5 single handbooks. The Consylion Handbook Series brings together all 100 handbooks and 100 spreadsheets, for less than the price of 8 single handbooks, and includes the next handbooks in the Series. Products outside the Series, from Consylion Life or Consylion Business, have their own price. They are sold separately and are not part of an area set or the Series.
Do I need to read everything before I start?
No. Each tool works on its own. Open the table of contents, pick the tool for today's problem, and start there. You can also read it cover to cover.
Do I need to know Excel?
The basics are enough: open the file and fill in the marked fields. The formulas are already built, and the handbook's example is filled in for reference.
How do I pay, and when do I get access?
By card or bank transfer, as a one-time payment with no subscription. Once your payment is confirmed, you get access to the member area by email. Approved card payments are confirmed right away. Bank transfers are confirmed when the funds clear. If access does not arrive within 24 hours of confirmation, check your spam folder and write to team@consylion.org.
How long do I have access, and how can I use the files?
Access does not expire, and you can download the files for offline use. The license is individual. You may read the handbooks, print them for your own use, and fill in and adapt the spreadsheet and templates with your company's data. If you are a consultant, accountant, or manager, you may apply the tools with your clients and deliver the result of your work, not the files. You may not share, resell, or distribute the files or the access.
How do support and refunds work?
Support is by email at team@consylion.org, on business days, with a reply within 5 business days. It covers questions about access, files, and payment. It does not include consulting or advice on applying the material to your case. You can cancel within 14 days of your purchase, without giving a reason, and get the full amount back through the payment method you used. Send the request to the same email. The details are in the Refund Policy.

Decide on a calm day, not at 11 p.m.
You can't control fuel prices, the weather, or a customer's mood. You can control what you do next. This handbook gives you the tools, the spreadsheet, and a worked example to see the facts first, prepare ahead, and make the hard calls with a criterion you wrote down in advance.
